Manchester City attacking midfielder David Silva has stated that he will be able to hang up his boots as a happy man if he can guide the Citizens to Champions League glory.
City are in the semi-finals of Europe's premier club competition for the first time this season and are now faced with a very tough challenge in the form of Real Madrid.
Having made it into the latter stages of the competition, City will surely be looking to go all the way and midfield ace Silva has gone on to state that he would love to win the Champions League with the Premier League giants before he retires.
He said: "It's the only trophy I have not won and I'm desperate to win it.
"Let's hope I can achieve that this year. I'll be able to retire from football a very happy man if I win it."
