Manchester City playmaker David Silva insists there is no clause in his new contract allowing him to leave for one of the top clubs in Spain.

He is concentrating on the quest for silverware and has assured supporters there is no chance he could leave for Real Madrid or Barcelona.

"I renewed my contract because I am happy here," Silva told Cope radio station. "I hope we will continue to improve and fight for more titles.

"At the moment I am thinking about that, not about the future. I'm only thinking about continuing to play, to enjoy and try to win titles.

"There is no clause in my contract allowing me to leave for Madrid or Barcelona."
