Newcastle keeper Tim Krul is to undergo surgery on Monday after dislocating his shoulder in the Tyne-Wear derby last Sunday. The Dutch stopper, who dislocated his shoulder while on loan at Falkirk five years ago, has made 31 appearances this season.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Tim Krul will undergo surgery on Monday after dislocating his shoulder in the Tyne-Wear derby last Sunday. The club expects him to return to training at the end of July."
