Sheikh Jassim turns to Spain, Brazil after Man Utd defeat

The Qatari royal family are swiftly moving on from their defeat in the bid to buy Manchester United.

Led by Sheikh Jassim, the Qataris were hoping to secure the Red Devils from the Glazer family.

However, Manchester native Sir Jim Ratcliffe appears to have won the race for the takeover, as he will buy an initial 25 percent of the club.

Per The Mirror, the Qataris are turning their attention to takeover of Spanish club Malaga and Brazilian side Santos.

These two clubs will be the latest they acquire, while they already own Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.

There is a chance another Premier League club may be the subject of interest, with Spurs mentioned in the past.
