Sheffield United's horrendous injury problems could force them to move for Stoke's Michael Tonge and Birmingham's Gary McSheffrey. Former Blades star Tonge could be on his way back to Bramall Lane after failing to impress with the Potters.

McSheffrey is down the strikers pecking order at St Andrew's and a drop back into the second tier is on the cards.
