Sheffield United are moving for Rangers defender Ugo Ehiogu.

Manager Bryan Robson has turned to the former England and Middlesbrough defender after being priced-out of a move for Aston Villa's Gary Cahill.

Ehiogu joined Rangers 12 months ago but has been frozen out this season and would jump at the chance of a move to Bramall Lane, where Robson is willing to match his £20,000-a-week wages.
