Sheffield Utd midfielder McAtee: I'm sure Burnley boss Kompany doesn't remember me

Sheffield United midfielder James McAtee wants to end Burnley's promotion celebrations.

The Blades are taking on the league leaders, whom they are 11 points behind at present.

On loan Manchester City midfielder McAtee hopes that his side can show there is more than one top team in the second division.

“I remember him coaching us when we were at under-16 level," McAtee told the Sheffield Star on Burnley boss Vincent Kompany, a Manchester City legend.

"He did a few sessions with us, when he was looking to get into that area of things I think. All of the lads were buzzing to have someone like him telling us stuff and it was a really great feeling.

"I don't think he'll remember me at all, if I'm being honest, but you never know I suppose. It will be nice to come across someone who is a City legend again but, really, all I'm bothered about is trying to make sure we win."
