Sheffield Utd go for Wigan striker King

Sheffield United are making a loan move for Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King.

The Mirror says Blades boss Kevin Blackwell is a big fan of the hit man who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough and Hull City after falling out with Steve Bruce at Latics.

And the Blades chief thinks King would be ideal for him if Wigan will let him go without any guarantees of a permanent buy - because he cannot afford his wages.
