Sheffield United coach Gary Speed is in the frame for the vacant manager's job at Swansea City.
Speed and Exeter boss Paul Tisdale are vying to replace Roberto Martinez as Swansea boss.
With Martinez on his way to Wigan, Liberty Stadium bigwigs want to speak with Sheffield United player-coach Speed, 39, and Tisdale, 36.
A Swans source told The Sun: "We want a young, hungry manager - someone who can carry on the excellent work Roberto did."
