Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is weighing up when to go with Tom Davies.

The former Everton midfielder is yet to start for Wilder.

"That's the dilemma now," he admitted. "When do we go with Tom and give him his first start under me? He's got onto the pitch at Luton and last week and that's going to be the question now from our point of view. Talking in old money we'd have loved him to have a couple of reserve team games but the situation with that is a little bit more difficult and complex.

"But he's been bright around the place, he's another player the club have missed hugely with his Premier League experience. But he's been around the group which is good. He's a real good character and personality and him being around the group and speaking and having the feel of a Premier League player in your ranks is beneficial.

"And more beneficial when we can get on the pitch, and even more beneficial when we can get him to start a game."
