Sheffield Utd boss Wilder concedes they're likely down after Arsenal thrashing: Time for the kids

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder all but gave up on their Premier League survival battle after last night's 6-0 home humbling by Arsenal.

Martin Ødegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Ben White all struck for the visitors. Jayden Bogle also put through his own net.

Afterwards, Wilder admitted he will start playing the kids more as he eyes next season in the Championship.

He said, "What you'll notice and see a little bit more now is the introduction of the younger players because I thought we were better when they came on.

"I know the game's gone and Saka comes off and they dropped down a level but Brooks coming on, Osula and especially Arblaster coming on might be a route now.

"It's been a painful season, a real painful one before me and through my period. There's a lot of broken and damaged players out there because this is what the league can do to you, especially when you're off it and they're on it. When you don't close the gap they make it look huge."
