Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom says no offers have arrived for Iliman Ndiaye.
The striker is being linked with Everton and Marseille this summer.
But Heckingbottom said today: “It's pointless me talking about it.
“Everyone knows who Iliman is. There will be loads of clubs interested, who would love to have Iliman, but he's our player. That's it.
“He's happy here, he loves it here. And who says [Marseille] are going to be the ones to take Iliman if he leaves? Just because that story is getting traction, or someone in France has written about it, it doesn't mean anything is happening.
“Everyone wants him to stay. Everyone is working hard to get him to stay, to sign a new contract. I will do anything to get him to stay, but they are our players who are under contract with us. That's the most important thing."
Ndiaye struck in today's preseason friendly win against Chesterfield.
