Stoke City ace Xherdan Shaqiri insists he is happy to play for the Potters.

The 25-year-old winger created shockwaves when he joined the Potters in 2015 following spells with clubs likes Inter Milan and Bayern Munich. However, it appears that he is finally enjoying his football in England and has no intentions of leaving anytime soon.

He said: “When I saw the first game at Stoke it was amazing, amazing fans. You saw that for sure. It's an amazing atmosphere.

“The Premier League is also the best league in the world as far as I'm concerned. It's a competition you cannot compare with other countries because there are so many good teams. The small teams are getting better every year. The big teams are making huge investments.

“You can win every game, you can lose every game and I am happy to be there."
