Xherdan Shaqiri admits he sees his future beyond Stoke City.

The midfielder admits he wants to get back into the Champions League.

"At 25, it would be silly to say that I want to end my career at Stoke," Shaqiri conceded. “At the moment, I feel very comfortable. I have scored three goals, as many as last season, and at Stoke I have a super trainer, super team and we're ranked ninth in the Premier League.

"But of course I will, in the near future, want to play again in the Champions League."
