Aberdeen face a wait to discover their fate after the SFA general purposes committee failed to reach a decision regarding the Dons recent criticism of referee Steven Nicholls, reports The Press and Journal. The committee met on Friday to discuss the statement which appeared on Aberdeen's club website following the Reds' 2-0 defeat at Hibs, and subsequent criticism from director of football Willie Miller, but no action was taken.
The Dons could be punished with a fine but the SFA has written a letter to the club requesting further explanation of the recent events.
