Online bookmaker and gaming company William Hill has deepened its relationship with the Scottish Football Association by signing a new two-year sponsorship deal, reports SportsPro. Having already title-sponsored the Scottish Cup as part of a three-year agreement announced in August 2011, the new deal sees William Hill serve as a sponsor of Scotland's national soccer team for the next two years, a period of time which will include the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Rio.
Financial terms of William Hill's commitment were not released.
"It's really exciting to be involved with the Scottish national team," said William Hill chief marketing officer Kristof Fahy.
"The road to Rio is going to be fascinating - and we're hoping to support the Scottish national team all the way to a place in the World Cup finals in 2014."
