Sevilla defender Federico Fazio has emerged as a target for Barcelona.

DiarioSport says the 20 year-old is being lined up by Barca as an alternative to No1 defensive target Ezequiel Garay, of Racing Santander.

Argentine Fazio is seen as a potential replacement for veteran Lilian Thuram at the Nou Camp.
