Sevilla are ready to bid for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

The Mirror says Sevilla sporting director Joaquin Caparros has sounded out Morata's representatives and they are trying to persuade Chelsea to do a deal this month.

The Spanish club are offering a loan deal worth £5m until the summer when they will pay £35m plus add-ons for the Spain international.

Morata has become disillusioned at Chelsea after falling out of favour with Maurizio Sarri.

But Chelsea are still reluctant to let Morata go without strengthening their own squad first.
