Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido says Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is not in the same class as Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

Del Nido was speaking before Sevilla's defeat to Real last night.

Speaking firstly of Messi and Ronaldo, he stated, "It is sacrilege to compare Messi with Ronaldo.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a good player, but Messi is the best in the world, and is sure to become the greatest among the great players."
