Sevilla are chasing Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.

Sevilla are in contact with Liverpool about arranging a deal for the Frenchman.

The Reds' €30m asking price is regarded as too steep by Sevilla, but they hope to fix a loan deal for the stopper.

Sakho, after spending last season on-loan with Crystal Palace, remains available from Liverpool.

The 27 year-old defender is tied to the Reds until 2020.
