Sevilla midfielder Suso is ready for a big preseason.

Suso admits he's been preparing for today's kickoff by working on training pitch for the past two weeks.

"The preseasons are more different as the years go by," said Suso.

"I don't like being unemployed for the whole month. I finished the year well and I didn't want to waste so much time. I worked two weeks before. I have been training in Seville for the last week."

Suso also welcomed new sporting director Victor Orta from Leeds United.

"Víctor has been at the club for a long time and knows which way we are going. He knows what we need and I am sure he will do a good job. We are a team that is always there and we can never be left for dead."
