Sevilla midfielder Papu Gomez has continued his blast at Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
Gomez accused Gasperini of "trying to physically attack" him last season before he left Atalanta in January. Claims that were denied by Gasperini yesterday.
However this morning, Gomez also stated: "I would never have said to the club 'either I or Gasperini', because I know his importance, for me he is the top in Italy.
"But if you don't have the courage to apologise, you can't continue.
"I thank Gasperini for improving me, but something like this is unacceptable: maybe there is a reason why he is booed in many stadiums."
