A return to England for Schalke defender Ozan Kabak appears off.
The former Liverpool loanee is up for sale at Schalke this summer and has attracted interest from Crystal Palace and Leicester City.
However, BILD says neither Premier League club have met Schalke's €17m valuation.
Instead, Sevilla chief Monchi has come forward to indicate a willingness to pay Schalke's asking price.
Kabak, 21, is seen by Monchi as a potential replacement for Jules Kounde.
