Sevilla are making a serious push for Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri.

With a deal running to June, United have the option to extend the arrangement by 12 months unilaterally.

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Sevilla are keeping tabs on the situation.

Sevilla made an attempt over the summer and have kept in contact with the Tunisia international's management team.

For now, the 12-month option remains a fallback option, as United chiefs would favour extending and upgrading Hannibal's deal before the January market opens.
