Tottenham are reviving their interest in Sevilla midfielder Diego Capel.
Seville sources say Tottenham made enquiries after Capel some six weeks ago, but were put off by Sevilla's £12 million asking price.
Now with Craig Bellamy having left Manchester City for Cardiff City, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is returning to the negotiating table for Capel as an alternative.
Sevilla expect a bid from Spurs in the next week for Capel, who Spanish judges believe has the characteristics to thrive in the English game.
