The agreement was struck near midnight last night and announced on Sevilla's website in the early hours of the morning.

Sevilla have coughed up £7 million to land Konko, who has signed a five-year contract which carries a £40 million buyout clause.

The 24 year-old Frenchman joins Sevilla as a direct replacement for new Barcelona signing Daniel Alves.
