Sevilla sports director Victor Orta has declared Arsenal as a model to follow.
Orta is in his first season at Sevilla after leaving Leeds United last term.
He told TMW: "A month ago I changed coach and it's difficult to explain that the process doesn't work. And now the role of sporting director has changed, sometimes it's difficult for us too, we stay for a season, a year and a half: I think the sporting director is there to serve the manager, to give all the tools to be successful.
"But it's not easy in a few weeks, or months.
"One of the great examples today is the ability of Arsenal or Bayer Leverkusen to have waited for Mikel Arteta and Xabi Alonso after the difficult moments."
