Ever Banega could be left in limbo at Sevilla.

The Argentina midfielder was due to leave Sevilla for a lucrative contract with Saudi Arabia's Al-Shabab at the end of this season.

However, Al-Shabab coach Luis García Plaza admits the move is now on hold due to the coronavirus suspension.

He explained to Hablamos de Fútbol: "I think that if we resume the competition, it would have to be with the players already registered.

"I don't think they would let us register Banega. Another thing is that the competition being suspended and that we start a new preseason. There would be a question for Ever."
