Several senior players are in limbo at Everton.

The Daily Mail says Everton have yet to hold talks with four of their out of contract players.

Darron Gibson, Steven Pienaar, Leon Osman and Tony Hibbert are all free agents come the end of the season but have yet to be told whether they are still wanted at Goodison Park or can find a new club.

Osman, 34, and Hibbert, 35, have been at the club since they were boys and have both been given testimonials in recent years.

Pienaar, 34, has offers from abroad but would be willing to stay for another season while Gibson, 28, is also keen to stay.

However, with Roberto Martinez expected to lose his job at the end of the season and Everton unsure as yet who will replace him, they will not commit to negotiations.
