Liverpool recruit Sadio Mane's shoulder injury is not too serious according to recent reports.
The Senegalese forward was taken to hospital on Wednesday after sustaining the problem in training and the initial fear was that he had dislocated his left shoulder.
However, the Daily Mail understands that Mane has only suffered a muscular injury which certainly will not require surgery or any serious treatment.
While it is highly likely that Mane will miss Saturday's trip to Burnley, the 24-year-old is expected to be fine by early next week.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will provide an update on Mane at his pre-match press conference for the Clarets clash on Thursday.
Mane, who joined the Reds from Southampton for £34million earlier this summer, kicked off his career with the Merseyside club in fine fashion with a stunning individual goal against Arsenal in their season opening 4-3 win on Sunday.
