Valencia striker Nikola Zigic is reportedly on the radar of Blackburn and Aston Villa. The Spanish club's sporting director Fernando Gomez said: "We have decided to sell but at the right price in the market.

"We have paid a lot of money for Zigic and it is necessary to recuperate a (sizeable) part."

Sources close to Valencia say they will not accept an offer of less than £8.5million for the player. His agent Milan Calasan confirmed he has received offers .

"Valencia have the decision in their hands," he said.
