Philippe Senderos has revealed that he did not see the resignation of manager Mark Hughes coming at all.
The former Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City boss yesterday quit Fulham after just one year at the helm and the decision has shocked many, including Swiss centre-half Senderos.
"I didn't see it coming - no-one did," Senderos said.
"It's sad for everyone, because we have had a good campaign and were hoping to build on that next season.
"We will see what happens. It's something that happens in football. The sooner Fulham are able to get a manager, the better."
