Segundo Castillo wants Everton stay

Segundo Castillo has declared he's chasing a long-term deal at Everton.

"Obviously I have to wait and see what happens at the end of the season but I really want to stay," Castillo told evertonTV.

"I feel very comfortable and at ease here, everyone has treated me well, I get on really well with all my team-mates and it's a great set-up. That's why I'm giving everything I can in every training session and every time I get a chance to play, in order to fight for that possibility of staying here longer."

Ultimately, Castillo concedes, the decision lies with David Moyes.

And, to convince the Goodison chief, the Ecuadorian knows he must be playing games.

"In order to guarantee it I need to be out there on the field showing what I can do," he said. "Obviously the ultimate decision is down to he manager and the directors.

"If he thinks I can bring something to this Club then hopefully he'll lengthen the period of the contract. It's just about working hard and making that decision easier for him to make.

"It would be marvellous to stay, the Club is a great institution and a great place to play."
