Seattle Sounders' fans and pundits are likening young midfielder Osvaldo Alonso to former Manchester United and England captain Bryan Robson.
Alonso was impressive in Seattle's US Open Cup win over LA Galaxy yesterday.
Asked about the comparison, coach Sigi Schmid told the Seattle Times: "It's tough for me to compare because I probably didn't see Bryan Robson play enough, but Ozzie certainly was solid. We've asked him to play a lot of minutes. I thought he did a good job holding down the midfield.
"He does what you ask him to do. His game has developed and is getting better all the time. His ability to recover the ball is as good as anybody in our league for sure and his passing decisions are becoming better and better."
