Michael Gspurning is set to leave Seattle Sounders after the club declined the option on his contract for season 2014.
The Austrian goalkeeper joined the Sounders from Greek club Skoda Xanthi prior to the 2012 MLS season but after two campaigns, has been released by the Cascadia club.
The decision comes as the Sounders traded a conditional 2015 first-round MLS SuperDraft pick for the rights to Toronto FC goalkeeper Stefan Frei.
