Reports in both Greece and Italy suggests that Djibril Cisse could be headed for MLS club Seattle Sounders.
The 29-year old French striker is set to come out of contract with Greek club Panathinaikos and a departure is high on the cards.
Where the former Liverpool, Marseille and Sunderland man ends up is yet to be decided with Serie A club Lazio heavily interested whilst the Sounders continued to be linked.
But a recent report on Italian radio station Radio Mercato suggests that Seattle are prepared to pay a transfer fee of 8million ($USD11.5m), trumping what Lazio have so far offered.
The report came via Greek site MetroSport so the old lost in translation occurrence could well come into play here.
