Swansea City midfielder Wayne Routledge is out for the season after ankle surgery.
He will miss the rest of the season after undergoing an ankle operation.
Routledge needed surgery to cure the long-standing injury in order for him to return in time for pre-season training.
The 30-year-old missed Swansea's 3-2 Barclays Premier League win at Newcastle on Saturday and will now sit out the remaining games this season against Stoke, Arsenal, Manchester City and Crystal Palace.
