Sean Maguire hopes to stay with West Ham United.
The striker has just extended his loan with Accrington Stanley.
"This is the last season of my contract with West Ham, I joined the club hoping that I could make the first team and do well for them and I still feel the same way," Maguire told the Irish Herald.
"West Ham are doing really well at the moment so all their focus is on the Premier League. From what they have told me, they are happy with me and how I am doing out on loan, they have been to the games and have had me watched.
"It is a big leap to the first team now, especially as they are having such a good season, but you have to have faith in your own ability.
"It's up to West Ham what happens next, if I get a new contract or if I stay out on loan but for now I am happy with how things are going."
