Arsenal great David Seaman has claimed that the North London club are only two signings short of having a formidable squad for next season.
Seaman claims that the Gunners need to bring Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, plus a central defender, to the Emirates Stadium in the summer to compliment the recent capture of Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka.
Arsenal have already activated Vardy's release clause, and the England striker is expected to make a decision regarding his future following Euro2016.
"They need a central defender, they've signed a new midfield player now, get Vardy and then we're looking good," Seaman told Express Sport.
"You look at the spine of the team. You've got Petr Cech in goal, brilliant. We maybe need one centre-half and then a striker.
"But they are additions to a great squad, it's not as though the squad is crying out for it or performing badly. We did have a good season, we finished second."
