Manchester City midfielder Abdi Ibrahim has extended his loan with Scunthorpe United to the end of the season.
The 19-year-old moved to Glanford Park for a month initially but has impressed Iron boss Ian Baraclough enough to stay for the rest of 2010/11.
The Norwegian midfielder has made four appearances for Scunthorpe, and was sent off against Middlesbrough.
But he is now set to help in their bid to stay in the Championship, which was boosted by a win over high-flying Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
