Scotland boss Gordon Strachan believes a better role model in the place of outgoing FIFA president Sepp Blatter can change the image of football.
Blatter announced on Tuesday that he would be resigning from his position in the wake of shocking corruption allegations against FIFA.
"People always use the statement, 'footballers are role models'," said Strachan, speaking ahead of tonight's friendly against Qatar.
"It's not rugby players, it's not tennis players, it's always football players.
"Well the same can be said of the executives who run the game. They should be role models as well.
"When we get role models in place, then football will be a better place.
"We can now move on, concentrate on football, which would be great for the game, as there is no doubt this is the greatest game in the world."
