Scolari wants Moutinho, Quaresma at Chelsea

The People says the man who is leading Portugal in Euro 2008 has told friends he wants to succeed Avram Grant at Stamford Bridge.

And Brazilian strongman 'Big Phil' expects to sign Portuguese midfield man Joao Moutinho and will also join the hunt for Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma.

Sporting Lisbon starlet Moutinho, 21, has been on Chelsea's shopping list since Jose Mourinho's time as manager but his close bond with Scolari will help the Blues secure the deal.

Quaresma seems certain for a move to the Premier League this summer, especially after Porto were booted out of the Champions League.

And although Arsenal are also keen to sign him, Scolari's influence could also swing that deal in Chelsea's favour.

Moutinho is valued at £15million by Sporting and Quaresma would be available for around £12m.
