Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari says Neymar was right to quit Santos for Barcelona in the summer.
Neymar's move has proved a success and Scolari is delighted.
"It was a big decision to leave Brazil and go to play in Spain. There he is already considered one of the best in the world, something we already knew when he played here," said the former Chelsea manager.
"Besides," he added, "they have a different style and he is learning from other players. He will return to Brazil a different player for the World Cup."
