Luiz Felipe Scolari is determined to keep Frank Lampard at Chelsea.

The Daily Star says he wants the club to make Lampard their highest paid player with a new £150,000-a-week deal.

And he will also fight tooth and nail to keep Ricardo Carvalho out of Jose Mourinho's clutches at Inter Milan.

Scolari is adamant that he wants Lampard as part of his plans for next season, along with Portuguese playmaker Deco.

And he made that clear to Frank Arnesen and Roman Abramovich in Geneva.
