Mark Schwarzer has praised Fulham defenders Aaron Hughes and Brede Hangeland in front of him.

The Australian goalkeeper told fulhamfc.com: "They've both done well and as a team I think we've done well.

"We've just been unlucky at times and have made a couple of individual errors which have cost us. Unfortunately at this level you can't afford any slip-ups or lapses in concentration at any time of the game because you can get punished very quickly.

"I've been in this situation before when you're playing good football but not getting results and you have to make sure that you don't slip into a rut. You've almost got to revert back to a bit of unattractive football and just make sure that you grind out results to lay that platform, get a run going and build on that."
