New Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has insisted on promoting midfield pair Esteban Granero and Ruben de la Red from the Castilla.
Both players were attracting serious interest from Spain and England, but Schuster rates them highly and regards the pair as genuine competition for central midfielders Fernando Gago and Guti.
