Former Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder spent time with Leeds United and Manchester United officials at Elland Road on Sunday.
Schreuder was ruled out of the running for the manager's job at Leeds after meeting with club directors.
The Daily Mail says Schreuder, 50, was at Leeds' team hotel as well as Elland Road on Sunday with his agent Milos Malenovic.
He held talks with club executives and took the opportunity to meet up with old colleagues Erik ten Hag and Steve McClaren of Manchester United but, ultimately, returned to Holland on Monday no longer in the running to become Leeds' next manager.
