Scholes willing to quit retirement to rescue Man Utd season
Paul Scholes is ready to come out of retirement to rescue Manchester United's season.
The Sun says he will now answer a call from the boss if it comes in the second half of the season.
Sir Alex Ferguson was convinced at the end of last season that Scholes had at least another year left in him — just like 38-year-old veteran Ryan Giggs.
But the player was happy to bow out at the end of last season with the club winning a record 19th title.
However, as soon as this season started, he was questioning his own decision and badly missed training and playing.
Scholes is still fit enough to play as he trains with the reserves every day at Carrington as well as coaching them.
While Scholes is reluctant to go to Fergie directly to offer his services, he will now help out if called upon.

Not only do Machester United needs Paul Scholes but also goalkeeper Van Dar Sar. I love sir Alex Ferguson, i agree he is and was the greatest coach ever.But one thing i do not agree with him is why does he always refuse to go in for world class players, like julio caeser, sneidjer, rebery, dembele, clint dempsey and also going back for saha. but would like to go for up and coming ones? i understand him in that respect, but he should also spend big for top class players for immediate results.
Schole is always a beta player dan al dis young guys any tym any day. So come back n give us ur mtn pass to help us win big matches.
