Manchester United legend Paul Scholes says they must stand behind manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Despite the club's current malaise, Scholes believes theyhave to unite behind Solskjaer.

He said: "They've got to start winning games. It's okay saying we'll give Ole time but if he's not getting the results that are needed in the meantime, then people are going to get impatient.

"I hope he is given time. He's made three good signings, he needs time now to bring players in he believes are good enough to get United back up to the top.

"We all have to stand behind him and hope he gets it right."
