Arsenal remain locked in talks with Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler. It's emerged Draxler recently had a tour of Arsenal's London Colney training facilities as he weighs up a move to London this year.
Arsenal made a deadline day attempt for Draxler in August and a move this month cannot be ruled out, though a summer switch is more likely.
Football pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft, the former Norway striker, added fuel to the fire on the weekend:
